KEAM 2026: what a state rank actually buys

KEAM counselling in Kerala is a sorting machine for government, aided and private engineering seats. A rank is not a personality. It is a key that opens a slice of the list and leaves the rest shut.

If the rank is inside the first thousand or so, the live argument is CET, MEC and TKM in computer science and electronics, not a tour of every private campus. If the rank sits between two and six thousand, mechanical and civil at the older government colleges become rational, and computer science moves toward aided and private names.
